K.R. "Ravi" Ravindran è laureato in Economia e Commercio ed è fondatore e CEO di Printcare PLC, una società quotata in borsa e leader mondiale nel settore del confezionamento del tè. Fa anche parte del consiglio direttivo di altre società e fondazioni di beneficenza. È presidente fondatore della Sri Lanka Anti Narcotics Association, la più grande organizzazione antinarcotici in Sri Lanka. Ravindran è Rotariano dal 1974 ed ha occupato le cariche di consigliere e tesoriere del Rotary ed è stato amministratore della Fondazione Rotary. È stato inoltre istruttore RI, membro, vice-presidente e presidente di commissione, rappresentante del Consiglio di Legislazione e governatore. In qualità di presidente della commissione PolioPlus del suo Paese, Ravindran era a capo di una task force di cui facevano parte membri del governo, dell'UNICEF e del Rotary e ha lavorato a stretto contatto con l'UNICEF per negoziare un cessate il fuoco con i militanti del nord durante le Giornate d'immunizzazione nazionale. Ha presieduto la commissione per il progetto "Risveglio delle Scuole", promosso dai club e distretti Rotary dello Sri Lanka, grazie al quale sono state ricostruite 25 scuole devastate dallo tsunami, a beneficio di 15.000 bambini.

K.R. "Ravi" Ravindran is CEO and founder of a publicly listed company with a worldwide clientele in the tea packaging industry. His company, Printcare Plc, is the winner of national and international awards of excellence. He also serves on the board of several other companies and charitable trusts. He is the founding president of the Sri Lanka Anti-Narcotics Association. A Rotarian since 1974, Ravindran has served RI as treasurer; director; Foundation trustee; committee member, vice chair, and chair; task force member; RI training leader; and district governor. As his country's national PolioPlus chair, Ravindran headed a task force consisting of the government, UNICEF, and Rotary and worked closely with UNICEF to successfully negotiate a ceasefire with the northern militants during National Immunization Days. He also chaired the Schools Reawakening project, sponsored by Rotary clubs and districts in Sri Lanka, to rebuild 25 tsunami-devastated schools to benefit 15,000 children.
