Lettera del Governatore, giugno 2023
Care Amiche e cari Amici,
siamo giunti all’ultima lettera mensile e non nascondo una certa emozione.
La stessa provata durante questo entusiasmante cammino che ci ha portato a raggiungere obiettivi di elevati valori etici, morali e soprattutto una spiccata sensibilità verso i bisogni del prossimo.
Abbiamo “immaginato” insieme un Rotary tra la gente e per la gente. Un Rotary che potesse essere concreto e di ispirazione per le comunità. Un Rotary riconoscibile da tutti per l’elevato impegno sociale e soprattutto per le competenze e professionalità dei Soci.
Tutto questo è stato realizzato grazie ai magnifici Presidenti e a Voi Soci!
Sessantacinque Case di Paul Harris fisse, 9 Case di Paul Harris Mobili, 9 Global Grant sul nostro territorio, 26 District Grant, lo stupore e apprezzamento del Presidente R.I. Jennifer Jones per l’operato concreto del nostro distretto e tantissimo altro Service di qualità e sostanza che ogni giorno ha invaso le nostre comunità e i media; Rotary in Action!
Abbiamo portato avanti con forza il concetto della continuità dei Progetti Distrettuali “SOS Api e non solo” e “BLSD”.
Non mi dilungo ulteriormente perché potrei svelarVi la relazione sullo stato del Distretto che potrete ascoltare sabato 10 giugno a Taormina.
Infatti, tutto è pronto per i festeggiamenti di un anno di Servizio Insieme al XLV Congresso Distrettuale, che vedrà la partecipazione di tutti i protagonisti rotariani e non.
Adesso ci avviamo alla conclusione e sento il bisogno di ringraziare tutti, Presidenti, Staff, Squadra distrettuale, Socie e Soci dei Club per l’impegno profuso, l’Amicizia, la passione e l’orgoglio di appartenenza che ci hanno dimostrato durante questi mesi.
Ho avuto l’onore di servire il nostro glorioso Distretto e grazie a tutti Voi abbiamo onorato il nostro sentire rotariano più elevato.
Viva il Rotary e Viva il Distretto 2110 Sicilia e Malta!

Letter from the Governor, June 2023
Dear Friends ,
we have reached the last letter and I can’t hide a certain emotion.
The same emotion experienced during this exciting journey that has led us to achieve to achieve goals of high ethical , moral values and , above all , a marked sensitivity towards the needs of others.
We “ imagined ” together , a Rotary among the people and for the people . A Rotary which could be practical and inspiring for communities. A Rotary recognizable by all people for its high social commitment and , above all ,for the skills and professionalism of its Members.
All this has been achieved ,thanks to the magnificent Presidents and to You , Members!
Sixty – five fixed Paul Harris Homes , 9 Paul Harris Mobile Homes , 9 Global Grants in our area, 26 District Grants , the astonishment and appreciation of R. I. Jennifer Jones for the concrete work of our district and a lot of other quality and substantial Service that has invaded our communities and media ; Rotary in action !
We have vigorously carried forward the concept of the continuity of the District Projects “ SOS API and more “ and “ BLSD “.
I won’ t go further , because I could reveal to You the report on the state of the, District ,that you will be able to listen to , on Saturday 10 June, in Taormina.
In fact, everything is ready for the celebrations of a year of Service Together with the 45th District Congress. Which will see the participation of all Rotarians and non – Rotarians,
We are ,now, approaching the conclusion and I feel the need to thank everyone , Presidents ,Staff, district Team , Members of the Clubs for the profuse commitment , Friendship , the passion and pride of belonging which they have shown us during these months .
I have had the honor of serving our glorious District and ,thanks to all of You , we have honored our highest Rotarian feeling .
Long live Rotary and Long live District 2110 Sicily and Malta !
